Perrelet’s watchmaking expertise is given free rein in the newTurbine Pilot collection, with its four timepieces featuring thefusion of the distinctive Perrelet turbine and the circular slide-ruleused in aviation. The collection draws inspiration from the worldof flight and has been given a 48 mm-diameter case framingdials that both inspire and pay homage to the aeronauticalsymbols and colors.

The luminescent white hour-markers andfour Arabic numerals meticulously applied on the sapphire dial,above the Turbine, make a striking contrast with the background :a combination of typical aviation colors that is further intensifiedwhen the Turbine is in action. Every detail of the collectionexpresses its refined engineering, from the case finish to theunique leather strap designed for an ultra-comfortable fit.

The PVD coating used by Perrelet is a high technology coating made by ion bombardment in vacuum. It is a 2-micron thick layer of carbon that has a very high wear resistance and antifriction coefficient. Its hardness offers at the same time a silky aspect particularly adapted to the Perrelet product line.
