STURMANSKIE
Originally the Sturmanskie watch was designed specifically for the Armed Forces of the USSR. Only in 1983 would Sturmanskie watches become available to the public.
Astronauts from France, Germany, Japan, India and Poland, making joint flights on the International Space Program, have taken the Sturmanskie watch with them into space.
YURI GAGARIN
In 12 April 1961 Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin took along the specially manufactured watch Sturmanskie on the first manned flight in space. In weightlessness and accelerations the watch worked flawlessly. A Sturmanskie worn by Yuri Gagarin himself was the first watch in space.
1949
Since the founding in 1949, Sturmanskie watches are designed and manufactured in the heart of the Russian State in the city of Moscow, 10 minutes away from the Kremlin.

COLLECTOR’S EDITION
Sturmanskie has developed a Special Collector’s Edition dedicated top the first watch in space worn by Yuri Gagarin.
Sturmanskie has repeatedly rescued the astronauts in difficult situations, helping in fulfilling important tasks, withstood severe tests under conditions of zero gravity, magnetic fields, strong overload, vibration and extreme temperatures.
OCEAN STINGRAY
In the glorious history of the Soviet watch manufacturing there is a special chapter – the diving watch, which today, due to its functionality and hard laconic appearance, is already a legend, beloved by many.
In 1972, on request of the Ministry of defense of the USSR a watch running in water and able to withstand high pressure water at a depth of at least 250 meters had to be developed. Sturmanskie delivered.
In the “Stingray” collection the best of the dive watch heritage is embodied. As time does not stand still, the model has undergone a new evolution in line with innovative trends of the time requiring more comfort, an individual stylish design and improved ergonomic properties from watches.
FIRST SPACE WALK
The "Open Space" collection is dedicated to the first spacewalk by Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov, which was undertaken while wearing a Sturmanskie watch.
USSR AIR FORCE PILOTS
In 1949, the production of Sturmanskie watches was mastered. These watches were made by special order of the air force of the USSR.
They were issued to pilots of combat aircraft, together with the diploma of the flight school.
By the end of the pilot’s service a special Commission decided, whether the pilot deserved to keep the watch for memory as the order of merit to the Fatherland or not.
MARS
In the future cosmonauts will explore Mars’ surface.
Sturmanskie has already created the watch that they will be able to rely on to function perfectly in Mars’ atmosphere and come back safely from their mission.
