Cuervo Y Sobrinos watches have always been supplied inside a Luxury Humidor, a truly beautiful box that evoked a past age of adventurers who journeyed to Cuba during it’s golden age when Havana truly was the Monte Carlo of the Americas.

Times do change and after many great conversations with customers we felt it would be good to offer an alternative packaging solution. We needed to deliver something certainly of equal value to the Humidor yet perhaps smaller and functional in a diferent kind of way.
We thought of many different options but none felt right. Then by chance at a Jewelry fair we met with a manufacturer of watch winders. We looked at many designs and eventually settled on recreating a cigar case, something which brings to life the spirit and tradition of Cuervio y Sobrinos with a contemporary approach.

The case would be cylindrical like the single tubes one can often purchase cigars in. The motor is of Japanese manufacture insuring quality and precision. Leather of Alligator pattern is bound around the case to invoke the feeling of the luxury straps on each watch and the color was matched to reflect the deep hues of the Tobacco leaves which are synonymous with Cuba.

As the new locations on Cruise Ships were becoming more and more successful we wanted the winder to be perfect as a travel accessory so we made a dual power source for  battery and AC.
What should have been a few months turned into a couple of years, development took time but like the creation of a fine watch the end the result was worth it.

The Cuervo Y Sobrinos Watch winder was born and is now a preferred packaging solution in many locations, starting from May 2020 it will be available to order separately online and at any of our partnering Stores.
